a friendly and budget option, usually €90–€150/month. Great for meeting other students and settling in quickly.
PRIVATE RENTALS:

EU/EEA students simply register their stay, while non-EU students receive guidance from university international offices on D-type visas or temporary residence permits (TRP).

DURING STUDIES:
During studies: Students are allowed to work. For non-EU students holding a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) issued on the basis of studies, the number of working hours is regulated by law – bachelor’s students may work up to 20 hours per week.
AFTER GRADUATION:
Non-EU students may request an extension of their TRP in Lithuania for an additional month in their final year of studies. Then graduates may apply for a 12-month permit to find a job or start a business.
